Privacy Policy

RoomAudio is a private audio-room app. An admin creates your login and assigns you to a room. This policy explains what the Android app collects and why.
What we collect
- Account: username and password created by your admin.
- Audio: microphone audio while you are in a live room, so you can talk to your host.
- Recordings: when your admin allows them, a clip of your push-to-talk can be saved for that admin.
- Device: a device id so one login stays on one phone, unless your admin allows another device.
- Diagnostics: error reports (app version, device type, error text) so problems can be fixed.
Permissions
The Android app asks for the microphone, notifications to keep the room connected, and Bluetooth for headsets.
Sharing
Your room stays with your admin. Room audio is carried by LiveKit on the RoomAudio server. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Accounts stay until an admin or the platform owner removes them. Recordings stay until that admin deletes them.
Children
RoomAudio is a business audio tool. It is not directed at children under 13.
